Villa Revedin is in Gorgo al Monticano, on the plain of Treviso towards the border with Friuli: a sixteenth-century residence that belonged to the Morosini, a noble Venetian family, set in about two hectares of centuries-old parkland. Since 1976 it has also been a hotel and restaurant, so the reception and the night can stay in one place.

Having everything a few steps away changes the rhythm of the day, and so of the photographs: there are no transfers to fill, and the time spent in a car elsewhere becomes time in the park here. The tall trees give shade even in summer, and the terraces overlooking the green are the natural place for the aperitif.

Davide and Patrizia’s 67 photographs follow the day from beginning to end. In the province of Treviso I have also photographed weddings at Villa Frattina in Meduna di Livenza, at Castello Papadopoli Giol in San Polo di Piave and at the Aranciera di Villa Zoppolato in Mogliano Veneto.
