The Aranciera di Villa Zoppolato is in Mogliano Veneto, halfway between Venice and Treviso. It is the villa’s nineteenth-century orangery, which still shelters the citrus trees in winter and in the warm season becomes a hall for about one hundred and twenty guests, inside a four-hectare historic park cared for by the same family for three generations.
The park is English in style: avenues, open lawns and trees of many kinds that change the light from one corner to the next. Dinner can be served inside the orangery, on the lawn in front of it or on the large lawn at the centre of the park, and each choice gives the evening a different colour.
